In 2024, we are excited to pursue a special and life-giving fundraising campaign to plant our first sensory and botanical garden for adults with special needs. This garden is the first of its kind because the property will also evolve into a forever home for 4-8 residents. A model which can be replicated in virtually any urban, rural, or suburban environment.
We are looking to raise between $3.5 and $7 million dollars. You can access our wish list, https://www.bloomingflowersfarm.org/wish-list.
This dollar amount will fund the purchase of land, building or renovation of an existing building for the purposes of bringing the building to code and providing a life-giving atmosphere for our residents, and additional needs for both the residential and garden sides in the start-up phase of the project.
The majority of the initial capital raised will be going toward the purchase of land. Of course, the dollar amount decreases greatly if we are able to secure donated land from the a private party, investor, or city.
Our revenue sources are grants, individual donor contributions, in-kind donations, trusts, and 1 year or multiyear corporate sponsorship's. We will be able to add revenue from the sale of tours, events, flowers, vegetables, and fruits starting in year 3.
If you feel a call on your heart to financially support this special project, monthly or one-time donation, you can refer to the top right hand corner and click 'Donate'.

Below, my sister Colleen, a 31 year old adult with special needs, would be amongst the first group of residents who would call the Blooming Flowers Sensory & Botanical Gardens their forever home.
